Bostrase BB Hayle

A traditional Cornish country cottage, built in 1830, only a mile from St Ives Bay. In a secluded valley, Bostrase is perfect for that get away from it all' feeling and peaceful nights sleep.It is a superb location, whether away for business or on holiday, with easy access to the A30.We are a cosy 4 BandB, so very different to a 4 Hotel. Being a cottage, our rooms are not huge. It's all about our large comfy beds with fresh cotton bed linen. We have en-suite facilities, with ground floor option. Rooms have broadbandWiFi, Freeview TV, DVD and USB port. They also have a 'quiet' fridge with fresh milk, hot drink making facilities, hair dryer and a, not so quiet, alarm clock. We have ample parking and some, open garaging, which is appreciated by cyclists, surfers and guests touring on motorbikes. There is relaxed seating in the heated garden room, beside the dining room, to hide away and read the paper, magazines or a good book. The mature gardens and orchard have various seating areas, perfect to sit and relax with a glass of wine, or a bottle of beer, weather permitting!!Our happy free range chickens, supply us with eggs for breakfast, during the summer months. We have adopted, a number of ducks, who provide us with much entertainment and also have, four cats who spend most of their time eating and sleeping.Although we are on the outskirts of Hayle, we recommend, that you have your own transport. Or should you prefer to travel to Cornwall by train, we can give you details, to arrange car hire, prior to your visit.Please note, a cooked breakfast menu for 8.30 a.m. is available from April to the end of September. From October to the end of March, various cereals, juice, tea, coffee and toast, is available between 7 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. This is because, Matt changes from Chef to chief Builder and Decorator for the cooler months. From Loggans Moor Roundabout on A30, drive through Hayle take the B3302 for Leedstown and Helston. On leaving Hayle you will cross over the A30 and then pass Tolroy Manor (John Fowler). After a couple of hundred metres turn left into the private lane opposite a circular mirror and a public footpath sign. Please note there is a 5mph speed restriction.Pass the old stone barns, round the bend to the right and continue down to the end of the gravel lane where you will find the entrance to Bostrase clearly marked on the left.
